About Tiffany and Destined For Royalty

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You,
all whose thoughts are fixed on You.
– Isaiah 26:3 NLT

The Why Behind Destined for Royalty

When I was a younger wife/mom I felt that it was hard to find people who were willing to be vulnerable and “real” about their life. Because of that, I felt alone and like I had to hide behind the reality of what I was really dealing with and portray a picture perfect life in front of others.

So I decided that I would start a blog to share what I feel is a true representation of what some people deal with. I wish I could say I immediately jumped into it, but the truth is I didn’t.

I allowed fear and perfectionism to hold me back

Years later I still found myself craving connection and authenticity, so I took a leap of faith and started Destined for Royalty’s blog to empower, inspire, motivate, educate, and encourage women young and old.

I want you to know that no matter where you are socially, physically, financially, or emotionally…you are Destined for Royalty.

Who Am I?

By day I am a consultant for an early intervention program, and by evening I’m a wife, mom, speaker, blogger, counselor, & program facilitator. I love to read, travel, and thrift shop.

I would never consider myself a fashionista, but I do love to look nice. That’s why you’ll sometimes find some “Mom Fashion” ideas to help you make some of your old items look new.

I was raised in a small town called Vidalia, home of the Vidalia Sweet Onions. I’ve lived in the south all of my life, so southern hospitality, waving to strangers as we pass in traffic, and speaking southern slang is something I’m accustomed to. Something also true of us southerners is that you MYOB…Mind Your Own Business.

However, I knew that if I continued to just mind my own business then I wouldn’t be honoring God with the gifts and talents He has blessed me with.

I feel that using my words to serve, uplift, and help others see that they are not alone brings glory to God. I’d love for you to be my nosy neighbor and peek into the window of my life on Instagram & Facebook.

About My Family

I have been married for 10 years. I have one daughter and one son who I love dearly. I always wanted a family of four because I’m next to the youngest of four girls, but I guess it wasn’t in the plan for me to have more. Now that my children are older I honestly don’t know if I could’ve handled four children fussing, fighting, tattling, etc.

The part I love about parenting is that I’m able to see the hand of God in the midst of mayhem and how much my children really love and adore each other.

The two most challenging areas of my life have been my marriage and parenting.

That’s why I share stories and resources that I have found helpful over the years. Above any of the stories and resources shared, what has kept me sane the most is my faith and trust in God, and the love/support I receive from family and friends.

What Can You Expect?

Join me on my journey of living life on purpose while balancing marriage and motherhood. Each week you will find devotions, lifestyle tips, reviews/interviews, and current Bible studies I’m digging into. You can expect me to always be relatable, relevant, and transparent with you.

Sometimes you may cry with me and at other times you’ll find yourself laughing and probably thinking to yourself, “I would never expose that to the world. What is she thinking?”

By being transparent I hope to express understanding, compassion, and grace to all women who read my blog and help you feel that you are not alone in your struggles.

I want to share about the blessings of setting the tones in our homes as godly wives and mothers and building ourselves and our families up by totally depending on God. My deepest desire is to build a home that represents Christ and encourages others through my authentic struggles and successes. My hope for you is that you will be encouraged and inspired to be an open vessel willing to utter the words “me too” to the women who cross your path.

I pray that something said or shared here will touch your life in a special way and continue to encourage you to grow closer to God.

In His love and mine,

Tiffany
